Back to Top ↑Filmit Academy follows a No Refund Policy for course fees once a student's enrolment and payment have been confirmed.
All course fees paid to Filmit Academy are non-refundable after enrolment confirmation. This applies to both online and offline courses.
Once a student has enrolled, Filmit Academy may allocate faculty time, class schedules, teaching resources, course materials, and other resources for the student's course. Therefore, cancellation by a student after enrolment does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
If a student decides not to continue with a course after enrolment, the course fee will generally not be refunded.
Non-attendance, change of personal plans, change of mind, scheduling conflicts, travel, technical issues on the student's side, or other personal circumstances do not automatically qualify for a refund.
Although Filmit Academy follows a No Refund Policy, special or exceptional circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Filmit Academy.
Where Filmit Academy considers that a particular situation warrants an exception, a full or partial refund may be approved. Any such refund will be entirely subject to the Academy's assessment and approval and should not be considered an automatic entitlement.
Examples of circumstances that may be considered may include genuine emergencies or other exceptional situations, subject to appropriate verification where required.
If a student does not complete the enrolled course within three (3) months from the date of enrolment or commencement, the course may be terminated or closed by Filmit Academy. No refund will be payable as a result of such termination.
Any extension beyond the three-month completion period may be granted only at the sole discretion of Filmit Academy and is subject to prior approval.
If Filmit Academy is unable to conduct a course or provide the agreed educational service due to circumstances attributable to the Academy, Filmit Academy may, at its discretion, offer an alternative course schedule, rescheduling, transfer, or refund as appropriate to the circumstances.
A student's absence from a scheduled online or offline class does not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
Where possible, Filmit Academy may consider reasonable rescheduling or an alternative arrangement, subject to faculty availability and the specific course structure.
Any violation of the prohibition on recording or capturing online sessions may result in termination of the student's course enrolment. Such termination will not ordinarily qualify for a refund.
If a duplicate payment is received or an incorrect payment is identified, the matter may be reviewed and the eligible amount may be refunded through the applicable payment method, subject to verification and applicable transaction charges.
If an exception is approved and a refund is authorised by Filmit Academy, it will normally be processed through the original payment method or another suitable payment method.
Any applicable payment gateway, transaction, administrative, or other non-recoverable charges may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
The time required for an approved refund to reflect in the student's bank account or payment method may depend on the relevant bank or payment service provider.
Refund or cancellation requests should be submitted in writing with the student's name, course name, payment details, and reason for the request.
All refund requests will be reviewed individually. The decision of Filmit Academy regarding whether an exception to the No Refund Policy will be granted will be final and binding, subject to applicable law.
Students are encouraged to carefully review the course details, duration, schedule, fees, and other applicable information before making a payment and confirming their enrolment.
